This eye patch is definitely a lot thinner in material and has a mesh- look to it (compared to the Bright Eyes Modeling Gel Patch. However, it still feels like a soft gel patch. However, the one thing that makes me not a huge fan of these gel patches is that if you put it too close to your eyes, you can feel them when you blink. So you have to find the best spot to put it so that it doesn’t bother you at all. My skin is not super sensitive, so it didn’t irritate under my eyes even though it does contain fragrance, and two parabens (marked in red above!) Similar to all eye patches it has a nice cool feeling and can do a bit of de- puffing if you put it in the fridge prior to use. When you apply it make sure you apply it on the smooth side, and not the other side. It didn’t seem to do much for me, and since it has no brightening effect it did not do much for my eye bags. While it is a lot cheaper, it doesn’t seem to have done anything. Perhaps that is why they decided to move on to the Slim and Lift line now instead of sticking to the Roots. Hopefully I can get my hands on those ones, so it can change my not- so- good opinions of. For $5, even though you get 2 sets of eye patches, you don’t see any results after using it. While your eyes may feel refreshed after, you can’t really notice an improvement in elasticity.
